Severe thunderstorms are not anticipated through Monday morning. ....Synopsis... A potent shortwave trough continues to progress eastward along the southern Arizona border. Earlier thunderstorm activity in southwest/central Arizona has weakened as it has moved into an airmass with temperature only in the upper 40s to low 50s F. Isolated thunderstorm activity continues from the southern Phoenix metro area into southwest Arizona. Radar/lightning trends, however, have shown a decrease in intensity in the last half hour. The strongest remaining activity could produce gusty winds and small hail.
