Severe thunderstorms are not expected for the remainder of tonight. ....Four Corners region... Convection with sporadic lightning flashes continues early this evening near the Four Corners region, in association with an eastward-moving mid/upper-level shortwave trough. Instability will gradually wane with time and eastward extent, but a few lightning flashes will remain possible from northeast AZ into northern NM though late evening. ....Southeast TX into Southwest LA... Convective showers are expected to increase in coverage late tonight from southeast TX into southwest LA, as richer moisture continues to advect northward and deepen in response to an increasing low-level jet.
