....SUMMARY...
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible across parts of the
Intermountain West. Elsewhere across the continental United States,
thunderstorms are not expected through tonight.

....DISCUSSION...
An upper-level ridge will move through the Mississippi Valley
tonight as southwest flow at mid-levels develops in the Great
Plains. An upper-level trough will move eastward through the Pacific
Northwest this evening. Ahead of the western U.S. trough, isolated
thunderstorms will be possible along a band of large-scale ascent in
southern Idaho and western Wyoming. No severe threat is expected,
and thunderstorms appear unlikely across the remainder of the
continental United States through tonight.
