....SUMMARY...
Isolated thunderstorms may occur across parts of northern California
and southwest Oregon tonight, but severe weather is not expected.

....Discussion...
A progressive large-scale pattern will exist over the CONUS through
tonight. An upper trough over the Lower Missouri Valley will
continue southeastward toward the Southeast States, with cold/stable
conditions remaining prevalent east of the Rockies. In the West, an
additional upper trough will approach the Pacific Northwest tonight.
Increasing forcing for ascent and weak buoyancy could support
isolated lightning flashes late tonight near the southwest Oregon
and northern California coasts.
