....SUMMARY...
Organized severe thunderstorms are not forecast across the
contiguous United States on Tuesday.

....Synopsis...
A potent mid-level trough initially near the West Coast on Tuesday
morning will move east into the Intermountain West as a powerful
upper jet over the eastern Pacific approaches the West Coast late
Tuesday.  Scattered to widespread showers are likely Tuesday from
central CA northward into the Cascades.  Cooling mid-level
temperatures will support intermittent pockets of weak buoyancy
mainly across northern CA into southern OR.  Elsewhere, surface high
pressure will be located along the East Coast, while a lee trough
develops over the Great Plains will lead to southerly flow and
moderating temperatures over the central U.S.
