Thunderstorms are not expected over the continental United States
today and tonight.

....Discussion...
An arctic air mass in the wake of the passage of a prominent cold
front will maintain cold/stable and generally dry conditions east of
the Rockies, with an exception of lake effect snow in the lee of the
Great Lakes. The West will largely remain dry and void of
convection, although showers are expected over parts of the Pacific
Northwest. Overall, thunderstorms are not expected to occur across
the CONUS through tonight.
