Severe thunderstorms will not occur over the contiguous United
States on Monday.

....Synopsis...
A potent mid-level low/trough over the eastern Pacific on Monday
will move east and be near the West Coast by early Tuesday morning.
Scattered showers will increase in spatial extent from the WA/OR
coast into northern CA.  Farther east, a mid-level trough will move
from the lower MO Valley into the Southeast.  Surface high pressure
will influence weather conditions across a large part of the Lower
48 states.
