Thunderstorms are possible today across parts of New England and
south Florida, but severe weather is not expected.

....Discussion...
The general large-scale pattern is highlighted by a significant
upper trough centered over the Midwest/Great Lakes, and the
continued eastward advancement of an arctic front to the east of the
Appalachians.

Across southern Florida, a band of showers/thunderstorms will
continue southeastward as the cold front also moves southeast. Some
stronger convective elements could produce gusty winds along the
southeast coast of the Peninsula and/or Keys vicinity early today,
but organized severe storms are unlikely.

Isolated thunderstorms, potentially with stronger wind gusts, are
also possible today mainly across coastal portions of New England,
although the majority of thunderstorms should remain offshore.
