Isolated thunderstorms are expected overnight into early Monday morning across the Texas and southwest Louisiana Gulf Coast. ....Texas/Louisiana Gulf Coast... Only minor changes were made to the ongoing outlook with this update. Warm/moist advection above a stable boundary layer is already underway over South TX, and this should continue overnight across much of central/east TX as a shortwave trough approaches from AZ/NM. MUCAPE locally in the range of 200-400 J/kg is anticipated towards 12z based on latest RAP soundings, and this will support the potential for isolated thunderstorms within an expanding area of showers that is expected to develop. Elsewhere across the CONUS, dry/stable conditions will prevail and thunderstorms are not expected. ...Bunting.. 12/19/2022 $$ = = = To unsubscribe from WX-STORM and you already have a login, go to https://lists.illinois.edu and use the "Unsubscribe" link.
