Isolated showers or thunderstorms may occur over parts of Florida on Saturday, but severe weather is unlikely. ....Synopsis... The upper low over the Great Lakes will fill as it lift into the Northeast through Sunday morning, and a trailing positive-tilt upper trough sweeps eastward across the Southeast. To the west, a shortwave trough is forecast to move across southern CA and toward western AZ by 12Z Sunday. At the surface, high pressure will remain from Great Basin into much of the central/southern Plains and into the Southeast. A weak surface trough is forecast to develop over the southern and eastern Gulf of Mexico, extending across southern FL Saturday night. A modest increase in moisture may occur as the upper trough passes to the north and surface winds veer to southerly, increasing dewpoints.
