Severe weather is not expected across the U.S. Sunday.

....Discussion...

As a large upper trough/low begins shifting eastward across the
western U.S. Sunday, showers -- and possibly some embedded lighting
at times -- will spread across portions of California and into
Nevada and vicinity.

Meanwhile, a weaker wave is forecast to continue moving eastward
into the Mid South/Southeast.  Showers and a few thunderstorms will
also accompany this feature, but instability should remain very
weak, and storms largely elevated atop a stable boundary layer.

Elsewhere, thunderstorms are not expected across the U.S. through
Monday morning.
