....SUMMARY...
Isolated thunderstorms are possible across northern California and
southeastern Arizona through tonight.

....Synopsis...
A midlevel low with embedded perturbations will approach northern CA
by tonight.  Bands of ascent with the embedded perturbations, and
steep lapse rates/weak buoyancy associated with cold midlevel
temperatures will support the potential for isolated thunderstorms
from the northern CA coast into the Sacramento Valley.  Otherwise,
weak elevated convection will remain possible across southeastern AZ
and extreme southwestern NM, within a persistent subtropical
moisture plume.
