....SUMMARY...
Severe thunderstorms are not expected for the remainder of the Day 1
period.

....Synopsis...
A mid-level trough continues to approach the Northeast Atlantic
Coastline while a second upper impulse approaches the Pacific
Northwest. Meanwhile, a surface cold front continues to sag
southward across the FL peninsula. In all three of the
aforementioned areas, a couple of lightning flashes remain possible
for at least a few more hours given some scant residual buoyancy. By
late tonight, the risk for additional lightning flashes should
become negligible.
