Severe thunderstorms are not expected through tonight. ....Synopsis... Broad upper troughing will continue across the eastern U.S. as a smaller mid-level impulse moves across the southern Plains tonight. Surface high pressure and associated cool, dry, and stable low-level air will limit thunderstorm development across most of the CONUS. However, a couple of brief thunderstorms may develop in a weak, elevated warm-air-advection regime across southern TX ahead of the approaching small mid-level impulse. Isolated to potentially scattered thunderstorms should also continue across the FL Keys into the far southeastern FL peninsula through tonight as relatively rich low-level moisture remains in place. In both southern TX and FL, both buoyancy and shear appear too limited to support an appreciable severe weather threat. ...Squitieri.. 11/21/2022 $$ = = = To unsubscribe from WX-STORM and you already have a login, go to https://lists.illinois.edu and use the "Unsubscribe" link.
