Thunderstorms are not expected across the continental United States
through tonight.

....DISCUSSION...
At mid-levels, north to northwest flow is in place across the
western U.S., with southwesterly flow located from the Southeast to
the Eastern Seaboard. An upper-level trough is located from the
Great Lakes extending south-southwestward into the mid Mississippi
Valley and Ozarks. At the surface, a large area of high pressure is
located across the western and central U.S. This cool and dry
airmass will make conditions unfavorable for thunderstorm
development tonight throughout the United States.
