Subj : Other networks To : Alan Ianson From : Joe Martin Date : Mon Sep 16 2019 19:04:47 -> > -> I'm not sure if there is a pots node or not. I'll ask and get -> back > -> to you here with what I find out. -> -> > Good info, thanks Alan. -> -> No worries, hope to see you there if you decide to go that route. -> -> I don't think fsxNet has a dial-up hub at the moment but there are -> nodes in -> the net with dial-up capabilities so I am sure a way can be found for -> connect with us. Got a nodelist? -> In my own case I am using EMSI over telnet to connect to hub 3. If -> your mailer supports that, that would be an option also. I set up a Novell v4.11 network so that I could have multiple lines and an easy way to test my programs with. I also have several other TCP/IP networks in house and have intentionally kept them separate from the Novell one. I just need to come up with a way to protect everything and still transfer mail. This is the sole reason for using a POTS line, protection. So I need to think on this a bit, consider my current firewall configuration and then devise a plan. I wish I was already retired, it would make life so much easier. ... Regards, Joe Martin --- ViaMAIL!/WC v2.00 * Origin: ViaSoft Support BBS - Back online at 303-953-0568 (1:104/57) .
