I tried it in Golded. Alt q, control q and q all do the same in "ASCII" modes. In Cyrillic mode Alt q and control q work. Pressing the q key does nothing. Same in goated with < and > for first and last message. It does not work with the keyboard in Cyrillic mode. In Cyrillic mode they are б and ю.
