I liked the progression from TOS -> TNG, but I wanted Enterprise to look 
much more primitive. The design of NX-01 looked like a 200 year newer Akira- 
class ship, and the interiors felt too new. I would have liked those little 
gooseneck viewers on the helm as a callback to the TOS pilot Enterprise.  :)
