Subj : Can I post from within the indexed reader?

Let's say I've got the indexed message reader open.  Maybe I've highlighted
the Local group base and area "Test Messages".  Can I press something to post
a new message in the base that's currently selected?

It seems like I have to <Esc> back to the messages menu, then change area,
then <P>ost my new message.  Hoping for something shorter.  Thx.
