VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for HP monitoring Software Consultant for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Skills set required: • Minimum 6-8 years of monitoring tools experience on HP monitoring software product suit. • Must have strong implementation and administration knowledge of HP operations Manager on windows (HPOM) 9.x and HP Network Node Manager i (HPNNMi) 9.x and HP Performance Manager (HPPM) 9.x. • Expertise on HPOM Installation/upgrade, OVO database install/ configure, MoM configuration, custom policy/template creation. • Expertise on HPOM agent install/upgrade across all the supported OS platforms, Configuring certificates, agent troubleshooting. • Expertise in Unix Shell and Perl script to meet the custom requirement. • Must be able to configure HPOM SPIs like IBM DB2 SPI, APW-MQ SPI, WebSphere SPI, System Infra, Active Directory, BlackBerry, MS SQL, Oracle, Citrix, SharePoint, Exchange and other applications. • Expertise on HPNNM to configure devices, communication and monitoring configuration, troubleshooting knowledge. • Knowledge of NNMi iSPI for performance metrics, netflow, VoIP / IP ispi for Traffic IPT QA NET and IPMC. • Should have experience in other HP monitoring tools like HP SiteScope, HP BSM, HP Service Manager etc. and integration knowledge within these products. • Should have experience on BSM-OMi and Dashboard Customization and event correlation in HP BSM. • Strong understanding of networking concepts and knowledge of layered architecture with Good knowledge on SNMP and MIBS. • Understanding of High Availability architecture of HP monitoring tools. • Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture (web/ application servers, database platforms, management tools) • Strong technical expertise in mainstream operating systems (i.e. Unix, Linux, and Windows Server platforms) esp. on AIX. • Added Advantage: o Administration Experience on BSM Components like BPM, RUM, Diagnostics, SLM , o Administration Experience on HP Service Manager o Experienced on Load Runner / Vugen script creation, troubleshooting and performance analysis o Knowledge of layered architecture of application deployment & application performance o Aware of flow of ITIL Processes and functions, o HP software products certifications.
