Ya, not sure when it got baked in, I tested removing ctrl/text.dat on v2.30 and
sbbs tanked, but on current versions if text.dat is missing it'll use internal
.. On the other hand, if text.dat is found and it has errors sbbs might tank or 
display unexpected strings :D
