  That explains why none of the browsers will let me do that anymore.

  As I noted in another message, I found FileZilla instead, because when
I tried to use FTP Explorer...Windows Explorer, File Explorer, and
Explorer Plus Plus, all crashed. But, I can use FileZilla, and go to
ftp://vert.synchro.net to get the sbbs_dev and sbbs_run files.
