          Sounds as if it was your choice to wait, rather than a case of making 
room in line for those with more urgent needs.  Not knowing when something like 
a surgical procedure is going to happen can be very stressful.  Knowing you can 
put it off until the timing works for you also has its advantages, though.  :-)
