Interactive Net Server v7.0.454.5 Lines: 72 PS: Telnet on port 25 to your SMTP server and type: EHLO machinename or domainname.of.machine.connecting.to.server. You should see the AUTH lines in the response. You didn't this before when I tested before. Here is my mail.winserver.com looks like: 220 winserver.com Wildcat! ESMTP Server v6.1.451.6 ready ehlo hdev1 250-winserver.com, Pleased to meet you. 250-SIZE 5120000 250-SUBMITTER 250-ETRN 250-AUTH CRAM-MD5 LOGIN PLAIN PLAIN-MD5 SHA-1 250-AUTH=LOGIN 250 HELP You can type QUIT to exit SMTP. You need at a minimum the "LOGIN" AUTH method, which is SASLLOGIN.DLL. "CRAM-MD5" is used by some readers like Endora and Netscape. The AUTH=LOGIN is a redundant kludge to fix older SMTP software (I think Netscape is one) that expected the equal sign. That is why LOGIN is shown twice. Also, Enable PORT 587 in your Wildcat SMTP Server Setup. [X] Enable ESMTP Authenication [X] Enable Port 587 [_] Required for all connections [_] From address must be local [X] Accept Authenticated Local Email for Non-Email Users Port 587 is good for users whose ISP has blocked 25 and you want to allow them to send mail thru your system. --- Hector On 2/28/06 10:58 PM, JOHNNY BOWEN wrote to all: > Hi, > > Since upgradeing from v5.449 to v6.1 recently I am unable to get my internet > email to work.
