I basically followed did the below... and since technically, I am my own ISP as far as my domain goes... I had to go figure out the MX record stuff on my own... I'm a hardware Mainframe tech by trade... so much of this stuff was 2nd nature as I came across it... I like the idea of deleting the dat files... but since it is working now, I think I'll just read them. Ray -> Ignore the UUCP stuff. We use WCSMTP.EXE today. -> Just setup your primary domain (one host domain) in MAIL SERVER and then -> restart WCMAIL.EXE and WCSMTP.EXE. -> Thats really all you need to do. -> If you want to do the defaults, what you can do is stop WILDCAT and -> delete -> the following files: -> del config\wcgate.dat -> del config\uucphost.dat -> Then we you go back to WCCONFIG | MAIL SERVER, it will tell you if -> you want to start a new mail host, asking for your email domain name -> and automatically preparing the basic default. -> It should work fine. -> Note: This has nothing to do with the outside world accessing you. You -> still need to have a MX record for your email domain name that allows -> the world to find your mail. If you are BLOCKED for outgoing -> mail, then you should set the SMART HOST to point to your ISP -> (mail.bellsouth.net). But incoming mail is basically how you got -> your email domain name setup in DNS with MX records which is -> something you have to work out with your domain ISP. -> --- -> HLS -> On 9/13/06 2:55 AM, RAY NEGRON wrote to HECTOR SANTOS: -> > Hector, -> > -> > I'm hoping you can direct me ...
