Interactive Net Server v7.0.454.5 Lines: 46 Dave, For whatever reason, you sending mail to this host requires you to "LOGIN" according to the response. This is very unusual when a MTA server (Wildcat!) is required to login to another server to login. Login is typically reserved for USERS to login. Wildcat! is not a user, it is a machine. If there is a special relationship, typically the host will White List you by IP address allowing you to connect to it and send mail. But again, this is typically only required when you are using this HOST as a "relay" machine thus requiring you to authenticate, typically by IP address. Did you call the 800 number to find out? --- Hector wrote in message news:1140643741.46.1139868358@winserver.com... > Hi > Problems trying to get the smtp to send/recieve mail.
