March 28 - National Something On A Stick Day

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Ursula's Hawaiian Steak Kabobs
 Categories: Beef, Mushrooms, Fruits, Rice
      Yield: 12 servings
 
  1 1/4 c  Soy sauce
    1/2 c  Oil
    1/4 c  Honey
    1/2 ts Garlic
  3 3/4 lb Beef sirloin; in 1" cubes
     24 oz (3 cans) chunk pineapple
      5 sm Green peppers
      3 md Onions
      5 c  Fresh mushrooms
           Hot cooked rice
 
  In large glass bowl, combine soy sauce, oil, honey and
  garlic; mix well. Add meat and marinade at least 1 hour
  in refrigerator. Remove meat; reserve marinade for
  basting. Alternate beef, onion, peppers, mushrooms and
  pineapple on skewers. (3 meat pieces per stick.)
  
  Broil about 5" from heat for 5-7 minutes; turn. Baste
  with marinade and broil an additional 5 minutes.
  
  Can also be grilled on high for same amounts of time.
