September 14 - National Cream-Filled Donut Day

      Title: Overnight Stuffed Donuts
 Categories: Breads, Cheese, Dairy, Herbs
      Yield: 6 servings
 
      8 oz Cream cheese; softened
      3 tb Sugar
      6    Glazed donuts
      6 lg Eggs
  1 1/4 c  Milk
      1 ts Vanilla extract
      1 ts Ground cinnamon
    1/8 ts Salt
 
  Coat a 9" x 13" baking dish with cooking spray. In a
  medium bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar.
  
  Cut each donut in half and place bottom half in baking
  dish. Evenly spread cream cheese mixture over donut
  bottoms. Place remaining donut halves over cream cheese.
  
  In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon,
  and salt; evenly pour over donuts. Cover and refrigerate
  overnight.
  
  When ready to bake, set oven @ 350ºF/175ºC.
  
  Uncover baking dish and bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until
  firm in center.
