MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Chilled Stacked Salad
 Categories: Greens, Vegetables, Cheese, Pork, Dairy
      Yield: 10 servings
 
      2 c  Mayonnaise
    1/2 c  Sour cream
      1 ts Garlic powder
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/2 ts Black pepper
      1    Head romaine or iceberg
           - lettuce; chopped
      2    Red bell peppers; fine
           - chopped
      1    Red onion; fine chopped
     10 oz Box corn; thawed, drained
      3    Ribs celery; fine chopped
      8 oz Shredded sharp Cheddar
           - cheese
      3 oz Real bacon bits
 
  In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic
  powder, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
  
  In a large glass bowl, layer half the lettuce, then half
  the bell pepper, onion, corn, celery, mayonnaise mixture, 
  and cheese. Repeat layers once more, then top with bacon
  bits.
  
  Cover and chill at least 1 hour before serving. Toss
  just before serving.
