      Title: Buckwheat Pancake & Waffle Mix
 Categories: Breads
      Yield: 1 Servings
 
      4 c  All-purpose flour
      2 c  Cornmeal
      3 ts Salt
      4 ts Baking powder
    2/3 c  Liquid shortening; for
           - waffles
           +=OR=+
    1/2 c  Liquid shortening; for
           - pancakes
      2 c  Buckwheat flour
      1 c  Raw wheat germ
      4 ts Soda
 
  Mix together thoroughly the above ingredients. This
  mixture may be used immediately or stored in a cool
  place for future use.
  
  When using it, take equal amounts of the mix and milk
  (sour milk is best).
  
  For pancakes, use 1 egg to 1 or 2 cups of the mix.
  
  For waffles, use 1 egg to 1 cup of the mix.
  
  This recipe is from "Amish Cooking" cookbook.
  
  No "servings" size given. (It makes about a dozen nice
  sized waffles.)
