      Title: Farm Monitor's Apple Dumplings
 Categories: Breads, Fruits, Herbs, Desserts
      Yield: 8 servings
 
      1 lg Cooking apple; in 8 slices
      8 oz Can crescent rolls
    1/2 c  Butter; melted
    1/2 c  Sugar
    1/2 ts Cinnamon
    1/2 ts Vanilla
    3/4 c  Sprite or 7up soda
 
  Wrap each Apple slice with a crescent roll.
  
  Combine butter, sugar, and vanilla, pour over dumplings.
  
  Pour sprite over top.
  
  Bake @ 350ºF/175ºC for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
