One of my faves; an easy & tasty dessert:

2 cans of pie filling (your choice) (larger standard cans)
1 box cake mix (your choice)
1 stick of butter  (1/2 cup)

put pie filling in crock pot
then dump cake mix on top of filling
then melt the butter and pour over top of cake mix
cook on low for 3 hours.

Was my sdourcve's prefered; mine is to use the richest chocolate cake mix I can get 
(Duncan Hines Devil's Chocolate, usually) & a NoName cherry pie filling.
