      Title: Uptown B-L-T
 Categories: Pork, Vegetables, Breads
      Yield: 1 Servings
 
      2 sl Thick cut bacon
      1 tb Mayonnaise
    1/8 ts Curry powder
      2 sl Marbled rye bread
      2 sl Yellow and/or red tomato
        lg Basil leaves
 
  Cook bacon in the microwave oven according to package
  In a small bowl combine mayonnaise and curry powder.
  Toast marble rye bread; spread with mayonnaise mixture.
  Layer one of the bread slices with bacon, tomato, and
  several large fresh basil leaves. Top with the remaining
  bread slice, spread side down.
  
  Makes: 1 sandwich
