MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Kevin's Half Moons
 Categories: Cookies, Desserts, Snacks
      Yield: 24 Servings
 
    3/4 c  Butter
      1 c  Sugar
      2    Eggs
      1 c  Sour milk
           +=PLUS=+
      1 tb Vinegar; let stand 15 min.
  3 1/2 c  Flour
      1 ts Baking soda
           +=PLUS=+
      1 ts Baking powder
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 ts Vanilla
 
  Mix shortening and sugar together, beat.  Add eggs, one
  at a time. Add sour milk alternately with flour mixture.
  Then add vanilla. Drop 6-8 tablespoonfuls onto a lightly
  greased cookie sheet. (Space them widely apart)
  
  Bake at 375ºF/190ºC for about 10 minutes. Should be
  brown around edges.
  
  Makes about 24 cookies (large).
  
  Frost half with chocolate; half with vanilla frosting.
