Subj : BH&G 2841 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Fri May 28 2021 10:45:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Spicy Thai Ground Beef Salad Categories: Oriental, Beef, Herbs, Chilies, Vegetables Yield: 6 Servings 1/3 c Oil 1/3 c Rice-wine vinegar 1 tb Fish sauce 1 ts Asian chile paste 1 tb Dark sesame oil 1 ts Sugar 1 ts Ground ginger 3/4 ts Garlic salt 1 c Cilantro leaves; chopped 2 lb Ground chuck 2 lg Carrots; peeled, in 1" - sticks 1 Red bell pepper; seeded, in 1 " sticks 3 Scallions; sliced 20 oz (2 bags) European-blend - salad For dressing, whisk vegetable oil, vinegar, fish sauce, chile paste, sesame oil, sugar, ginger and 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt in small bowl. Stir in cilantro. Working in batches if necessary, cook meat in large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink, 5 minutes. Drain off liquid. Season with remaining garlic salt. Add carrots and red pepper to skillet; cook 2 minutes. Stir half of dressing and the scallions into meat mixture. Remove from heat. To serve, toss salad greens with remaining half of dressing in serving bowl. Spoon meat mixture over top.
