Subj : BH&G 2825 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Wed May 26 2021 11:29:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Chilled Raspberry-Chile Soup Categories: Fruits, Citrus, Dairy, Chilies Yield: 6 Servings 4 c Fresh raspberries 4 Ripe bananas, peeled and cut - up 1 c Fresh orange juice 6 oz Carton plain yogurt 2 tb Agave or corn syrup 2 lg Fresh jalapenos; minced - Whole or sliced fresh - raspberries (opt) - Sliced fresh jalapeno or - serrano peppers (opt) In a blender combine the 4 cups raspberries, the bananas, orange juice, yogurt, and syrup. Cover and blend until smooth. Stir in minced jalapeno peppers. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve the soup in small bowls. Garnish with raspberries and sliced chiles. FROM THE TEST KITCHEN: Use a spoon with a narrow tip to easily remove seeds and ribs from peppers. A knife also works well if the flesh is tough.
