Subj : BH&G 2696 To : All From : Dave Drum Date : Thu May 13 2021 13:06:14 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Skillet Baked Pasta Categories: Pasta, Pork, Sauces, Cheese, Breads Yield: 4 Servings 1/2 lb Bow-tie, rotini, or penne - pasta 1/2 lb Bulk hot Italian sausage 14 oz Marinara sauce w/vegetables 1 c Shredded mozzarella 2 tb Italian bread crumbs 2 tb Grated Parmesan Heat oven to 450ºF/232ºC. Cook pasta following package directions. Drain. While pasta is cooking, heat a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage. Cook, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sausage is cooked through. Drain fat if necessary. Add sauce and bring to a simmer. Stir in the drained pasta and 1/2 cup of the mozzarella. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella over the pasta, along with the bread crumbs and Parmesan and bake for 8 minutes or until cheese melts and casserole starts to bubble. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
