      Title: Georgia Shrimp Puppies
 Categories: Seafood, Breads, Appetisers
      Yield: 2 Dozen
 
      1 lb Small shrimp; peeled,
           - cooked, chopped
      2    Green onions; chopped
      4    Water chestnuts; chopped
    1/4 c  Bamboo shoots; chopped
    1/8 ts Garlic powder
      1 tb Soy sauce
    1/8 ts Black pepper
      1 lg Egg
      6 tb Self-rising flour
      2 tb Water
    1/4 ts Dark sesame oil
           Oil for frying
 
  In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Transfer
  mixture to blender or food processor. Mix to blend well.
  Drop mixture by spoonfuls into hot oil (350ºF/175ºC).
  Fry until puppies puff up and are brown on all sides,
  about 3 minutes.
