Subj : BH&G 2513 To : All From : Dave Drum Date : Sun Apr 25 2021 19:40:42 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Asparagus-Ham Bake Categories: Pork, Rice, Vegetables, Cheese, Breads Yield: 6 Servings 10 3/4 oz Can condensed cream of - asparagus soup 3/4 c Milk 2 c Cubed cooked ham 2 c Cooked white rice * 1 lb Fresh asparagus; trimmed, in - 1" pieces +=OR=+ 9 oz Pkg cut asparagus; thawed 1 md Fennel bulb; cored, chopped 1/2 c Shredded Emmenthaler cheese - (2 ounces) 1/4 c Fine chopped onion 1/2 c Panko bread crumbs 2 tb Butter; melted Set oven @ 375ºF/190ºC. In a large bowl combine soup and milk. Stir in ham, cooked rice, asparagus, fennel, cheese, and onion. Transfer ham mixture to an ungreased 2 quart square baking dish. In a small bowl combine panko and melted butter. Sprinkle over ham mixture. Bake, uncovered, for 40 to 45 minutes or until heated through and lightly browned. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. * TIP: To prepare 2 cups cooked rice, in a medium saucepan combine 1-1/3 cups water and 2/3 cup uncooked long grain white rice. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
