Subj : BH&G 2314 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Mon Apr 05 2021 14:05:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup Categories: Soups, Poultry, Pasta, Cheese, Vegetables Yield: 8 Servings 32 oz Chicken broth 3 c Water 2 1/2 c Chopped cooked chicken 1 1/2 c Sliced carrots 1 1/2 c Sliced celery 1 1/2 c Mushrooms; sliced 1/4 c Chopped onion 1 1/2 ts Dried thyme; crushed 3/4 ts Garlic pepper 3 oz Cream cheese; cut up 2 c Dried egg noodles In a 5 to 6 quart slow cooker combine chicken broth, the water, chicken, carrots, celery, mushrooms, onion, thyme, and garlic pepper. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 6 to 8 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 to 4 hours. If using low-heat setting, turn cooker to high-heat setting. Stir in cream cheese until combined. Stir in uncooked noodles. Cover and cook for 20 to 30 minutes more or just until noodles are tender.
