Subj : St. Guido 07 To : All From : Dave Drum Date : Tue Mar 30 2021 14:52:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Sloppy Guido Categories: Beef, Vegetables, Cheese Yield: 4 Servings 1 lb Ground sirloin 4 c Favorite jarred pasta sauce 4 Ciabatta rolls +=OR=+ 8 sl Texas toast Mozzarella, asiago & - Parmesan cheese Butter, softened Garlic salt Cottage cheese (opt) Brown ground sirloin, drain and add to pasta sauce; heat. If using vegetarian crumbles, add directly to sauce and heat thoroughly. Split ciabatta rolls and butter inside of each half; sprinkle with garlic salt or Garlic Bread Sprinkles. Place on pan and broil for about 5 minutes until lightly brown and crispy. Remove from broiler. Spread one half of roll with thick layer of pasta meat sauce; cover with cheese and place some cheese on other half of roll as well. Broil again just until cheese is melted. Remove and serve. (If desired, right before serving, place a couple spoonfuls of cottage cheese on sandwich before topping with second half of roll...mmmmm!)
