Subj : BH&G 2207 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Thu Mar 25 2021 15:34:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Thai Tuna Toss Categories: Oriental, Seafood, Vegetables, Chilies, Nuts Yield: 4 Servings 6 c Shredded napa 12 oz Cooked tuna; broken in - chunks +=OR=+ 12 oz (2 cans) chunk white tuna; - drained 1 Red or yellow bell pepper; - in thin strips 1 c Fresh snow pea pods; trimmed - halved across 1/4 c Sliced green onion 1/2 c Rice vinegar 1 tb Sugar 1 tb Soy sauce 1 ts Toasted sesame oil 1/4 ts Ground ginger 1/4 ts To 1/2 ts crushed red - pepper 2 tb Chopped cashews Combine cabbage, tuna, sweet pepper, pea pods, and green onion in a very large bowl. Gently toss to mix. For dressing, combine rice vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, ginger, and crushed red pepper in a screw-top jar. Cover and shake well. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture; toss to coat. Serve immediately or cover and chill up to 12 hours. Sprinkle with cashews before serving.
