Subj : BH&G 2193 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Wed Mar 24 2021 16:38:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Deviled Egg Salad Categories: Salads, Eggs, Greens, Vegetables Yield: 6 Servings 7 lg Hard-cooked eggs; peeled 3 tb Salad dressing or - mayonnaise 1 tb Chopped fresh dill weed 1 cl Garlic; minced 5 ds Bottled hot pepper sauce 1/8 ts Salt 6 c Torn Boston or Bibb lettuce 2 c Grape or cherry tomatoes; - halved 1 md Red bell pepper; chopped 4 sl Bacon; crisp-cooked, drained - crumbled 3 Green onions; sliced MMMMM----------------------DILL VINAIGRETTE--------------------------- 1/3 c Olive oil 2 tb Tarragon vinegar 1 tb Snipped fresh dill 2 ts Dijon-style mustard 1 cl Garlic; minced 1/4 ts Salt 1/4 ts Bottled hot pepper sauce In a screw-top jar combine oil, vinegar, dill, mustard, garlic, salt, and hot pepper sauce. Cover and shake well. Halve hard-cooked eggs lengthwise and place yolks in a small bowl. Set whites aside. Mash yolks with fork and stir in salad dressing, dill weed, garlic, hot pepper sauce, and salt. Stuff egg white halves with yolk mixture. Set aside. On a platter arrange lettuce, tomatoes, sweet pepper, bacon, and green onions. Arrange eggs on greens. Drizzle with Dill Vinaigrette. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
