Subj : BH&G 2169 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Sun Mar 21 2021 11:54:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Southwest Chicken Calzone #2 Categories: Five, Poultry, Cheese, Salsa, Breads Yield: 4 Servings 12 1/2 oz Can Swanson Premium White - Chunk Chicken Breast in - Water; drained * 4 oz Cream cheese; softened 1 c Chunky Salsa 1 c Shredded Mexican cheese - blend; Colby Jack or - Cheddar Cheese (abt 4 oz) 10 oz Pkg refrigerated pizza - dough * Or 3 cans (4.5 ounces each) Heat the oven to 425ºF/220ºC. Stir the chicken, cream cheese, 1/2 cup salsa, and shredded cheese in a medium bowl and set it aside. Unroll the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12" square. Cut the dough into 4 (6") squares. Place about 1/2 cup chicken mixture on half of each square. Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal. Place the calzones on a baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes or until they're golden brown. Cool the calzones on the baking sheet for 1 minute and serve them with the remaining salsa for dipping.
