Subj : St. Cuthbert 11 To : All From : Dave Drum Date : Fri Mar 19 2021 20:46:08 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: St. Cuthbert's Day Soup Categories: Beef, Potatoes, Vegetables, Herbs Yield: 8 Servings 3 tb Butter 1/2 c Diced onion 4 c Cabbage; in bite-size - pieces 4 c Red potatoes; diced 2 c Corned beef; diced 29 oz (2 cans) beef broth 4 c Water 1 ts Herbes de provence; crushed 2 tb Minced garlic 1 c Dried lentils Salt & pepper In stockpot, melt butter. Add cabbage, onions, and potatoes. Saute until onions are translucent and cabbage is tender. Add corned beef. Add broth, water, spices, garlic, salt and pepper. Simmer gently for 20 minutes.
