Subj : BH&G 2045 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Tue Mar 09 2021 12:03:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Broiled Bok Choy w/Miso Sauce Categories: Greens, Citrus, Chilies Yield: 4 Servings Cooking spray 4 ts Olive oil 6 Baby bok choy; about 1 pound - halved lengthwise 4 oz Fresh shiitake mushrooms; - stemmed, halved lengthwise 2 tb Orange juice 2 tb Sweet rice wine 1 tb Red miso paste 1 tb Honey 2 ts Grated fresh ginger 2 ts Fine shredded orange peel 1 ts Sriracha sauce Orange slice; quartered - (opt) Preheat broiler. Coat a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with cooking spray; drizzle pan with 2 teaspoons of the oil. Roll bok choy and mushrooms in the oil to coat. For sauce, in a small bowl whisk together the remaining 2 teaspoons oil, orange juice, rice wine, miso paste, honey, ginger, orange peel, and chili sauce. Set aside. Broil vegetables about 6 inches from the heat for 6 minutes. Turn bok choy over. Broil for 7 to 8 minutes more or until bok choy leaves are slightly charred and stems are crisp-tender. Transfer bok choy and mushrooms to a serving platter. If desired, garnish sauce with orange slice. Drizzle sauce over vegetables.
