Subj : BH&G 2009 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Fri Mar 05 2021 13:13:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Slow Cooker Hot Reuben Spread Categories: Beef, Vegetables, Cheese, Breads Yield: 26 Servings 1 1/2 c Shredded Emmenthaler cheese 3/4 c Drained sauerkraut 1/2 c Thousand Island dressing 8 oz Pkg cream cheese; softened 5 oz (2 pkg) thin sliced corned - beef; chopped Cocktail rye bread slices or - pretzel crackers, if - desired Spray inside of 1 to 2 1/2 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix all ingredients except crackers; spoon into slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 1 hour or until cheese is melted. Stir until cheese is smooth; cover and cook 1 hour longer. Scrape down side of cooker with rubber spatula to help prevent edge of spread from scorching. Serve spread with rye bread. Spread will hold up to 2 hours on Low.
