Subj : BH&G 1902 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Tue Feb 23 2021 09:54:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Orange-Glazed Brussels Sprouts And Carrots Categories: Vegetables, Citrus Yield: 4 Servings 2 c Fresh Brussels sprouts +=OR=+ 10 oz Box frozen Brussels sprouts 3 md Carrots; quartered - lengthwise; in 1" pieces 1/3 c Orange juice 1 ts Cornstarch 1/2 ts Sugar 1/4 ts Ground nutmeg (opt) 1/4 ts Salt Cut Brussels sprouts in half. In a medium saucepan combine sprouts and carrots. In covered medium saucepan cook in a small amount of boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain well. Return all of the vegetables to pan. In a small bowl stir together the orange juice, cornstarch, sugar, nutmeg (if desired), and salt. Add to Brussels sprouts and carrots. Cook and stir the mixture over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Serve immediately. Makes 4 side-dish servings.
