Subj : St. Claude 02 To : All From : Dave Drum Date : Sun Feb 14 2021 11:46:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Rennes Claude Traybake Categories: Desserts, Fruits, Nuts, Pastry Yield: 8 Servings 1 c Butter; softened 1 c Superfine caster sugar 4 lg Eggs; beaten 3/4 c Self-rising flour 1 c Ground almonds 3/4 c Strawberry jam Set the oven @ 350ºF/175ºC/gas 4 and grease and line a brownie tin with greaseproof paper. Cream the butter and sugar together until well whipped then gradually whisk in the eggs, beating well after each addition. Fold in the flour and ground almonds then swirl through the jam. Scrape the mixture into the tin and bake for 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Turn the loaf out onto a wire rack and leave to cool before slicing.
