      Title: Zesty Beef Tacos
 Categories: Beef, Beans, Sauces, Chilies
      Yield: 12 Servings
 
      2 lb Ground beef
      2 md Onions; fine chopped
      2    Green NuMex chilies; roasted
           - chopped
     32 oz (2 jars) medium or hot
           - salsa
     30 oz (2 cans) black beans; rinsed
           - drained
     24    Taco shells
    1/2 c  Sliced green onions
      1 md Tomato; chopped
           Shredded lettuce; opt
 
  In an extra-large skillet, cook ground beef until brown.
  Drain off fat. Place beef in a 5 or 6 quart slow cooker.
  Stir in onions, peppers, salsa, and black beans.
  
  Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 6 to 8 hours or on
  high-heat setting for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
  
  Spoon beef mixture into taco shells. Sprinkle with green
  onions, chopped tomato, and shredded lettuce, if desired.
  
  Makes 12 servings.
